X-LABS team is a modification maker team, especially for the game Return to Castle Wolfenstein. We would like to bring the quality to the RTCW community by developing our own mod and make the gameplay more enjoyable.

Game Descriptions / RTCW Download the game [direct]

1. Download the .ISO image file from here: http://et.frag9.net/maps/RtCW/rtcw.iso
2. Save it to where you can easily find it, for example: C:\WolfISO\.

3. If you don't have Daemon Tools, then get it here: http://www.disc-tools.com/download/daemon
Install
4. Daemon Tools requires restart, when you've downloaded the ISO, then restart your PC.
5. Mount the ISO image file (rtcw.iso) into Daemon Tools, if everything's fine then the install wizard will start automaticly. If you do not have a CD-key then you can use this CD-key: WCLW-GCGL-ASRC-LPWS-ED (note: CD-key can be changed any time).
6. When you finished the installation just enjoy the game and have fun.

This is the first version of RTCW, also you install this version first. This version of RTCW has a lot of bug and glitches. To fix bugs and glitches you've to download new patches. Those patchs even change the version of your game, so if you install any other patch then the version of your game will be changed and you'll see completly different servers, modifications and so on.
1.31
This is the first patch of RTCW, this version also known as GoTY (Game of The Year). This name because RTCW has been voted for the best of 2001. This patch includes many bug fixes and also new maps.
1.33
This is the second patch of RTCW, it hasn't got many changes, but it fixes many bugs that couldn't be fixed in version 1.31. So it's consider as a re-fix. This version called Director's Edition.
1.41
This is the final patch of RTCW, the developer of the game tried to put as much bug fixes as they could. They did an excellent job, therefore there aren't any newer patch after this one. Also this patch brought new maps. The most of the competitions in the past been played on this version.

« Last post by M3d!C on 2010. October 17. - 21:17:25 »We need your screenshots and some video of the RTCW 1.0 gameplay, if you would do it, please do it with PB. When we all got all these, then the project leader can contact ID Software and Activision or maybe both. Then they will release the game again for free, so nobody have to pay then, and everyone will be able to download the game on a direct (non-torrent) download.
We need your help, because we want this game keep alive (I think you too).

Here the informations:
Do you play Return to Caslte Wolfenstein? You want to make it more active? More players? Servers? I'm gonna start running a project, but I need your help in order to do this.
A cup won't do much, it will get people interested indeed, but how can we make Return to Castle Wolfenstein more popular? With more players playing daily?
Would selling RTCW (legit) keys cheap, make people buy and play it? More mods for the game, or maps? Or give out keys for free? Give us your opinions, ideas on how to do this, how we could get a game active again?
